Shaykh Sulaiman Moola (may Allah preserve him) is a prominent Islamic scholar who began his journey of sacred studies at a very young age. With a strong passion for knowledge, he devoted his early years to the memorization of the Quran, which he completed at the age of 14 in 1989. He then continued his studies for the next seven years, delving into various Islamic sciences.

Among the many Islamic sciences Shaykh Sulaiman Moola studied, he became particularly fluent in Arabic poetry, which gave him a deeper understanding of the Arabic language and its nuances. This, in turn, helped him to better comprehend the classical Islamic texts he would later study.

Apart from Arabic, Shaykh Sulaiman Moola also gained a thorough understanding of other Islamic sciences, including Tafsir (Quranic exegesis), Hadith (Prophetic traditions), Aqidah (Islamic creed), and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence). He specialized in the Hanafi School of jurisprudence, which he studied under senior ulama from South Africa and the Indian Subcontinent. With their guidance, he received ijazah (authorization) to teach and pass on their knowledge.
Teaching at Various Madaris in South Africa
After completing his studies, Shaykh Sulaiman Moola went on to teach at various Madaris (Islamic seminaries) in South Africa, including Dar al-Uloom Zakariyya.
