Mohammed Hijab is an author, comparative-religionist and philosopher of religion. He is the co-founder of Sapience Institute and is a researcher and instructor for the organisation. He has a BA in Politics and master’s degree in History from Queen Mary University.
He has also acquired a second master’s in Islamic Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies. Hijab has also completed a third master’s degree in Applied Theology from the University of Oxford where he focussed on the Philosophy of Religion in applied settings. Hijab is now doing his PhD in the Philosophy of Religion on the Contingency Argument for God’s existence.
In addition, Mohammed Hijab has undergone formal training in Islamic studies, with a focus on the Qur’an, Prophetic traditions, and legal reasoning. Mohammed Hijab has completed Islamic seminary courses and been given formal permission to relay Islamic knowledge on selected Islamic fields. Hijab is one of the very few Muslim public figures who deal comparatively with political, philosophical and theological issues and as such has amassed a following of many subscribers on YouTube in English and Arabic

Mohammed Hijab was born into a Sunni Muslim family in the United Kingdom, and was raised by his mother. His family originate from Alexandria in Egypt.

Mohammed Hijab Wife & Career
After getting married at the age of 20.
He made his marrital life private.
Hijab became a trainee teacher of History at the Harris Academy Rainham on a fixed term placement.
In 2018, Mohammed Hijab attended a freedom of speech rally in Whitehall with his associate Ali Dawah. Hijab was told by Gavin McInnes, co-founder of Vice Media that the Qur’an was “disproportionately violent” shortly before McInnes admitted that he hadn’t read it.
He was also hurled with abuse by members of the Democratic Football Lads Alliance, including being physically kicked and punched. Following the rally, Hijab lost his job as teacher trainee, and not receiving his Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) licence which he would have received within the next weeks.
In 2019, he challenged a black separatist by the name of Jedi to an MMA fight after the continuous bullying of Muslims by the latter.
