Fares Abd Rabbuh Mohammed Abbad is a prominent Yemeni Cheikh known for his exceptional skills as a Quran reader. He serves as an Imam at the Ali bin Abi Talib mosque in Doha, located in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia, and has gained recognition for his melodious voice on Almajd Channel TV.
Born on April 12, 1980, in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, Fares Abbad is the second child of his parents and a father to three boys and a girl. His passion for the Holy Quran developed during his childhood, leading him to memorize it in various schools in Sanaa. He underwent traditional sessions at Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque, where he was mentored by esteemed Cheikhs, including Cheikh Fadl Morad, who taught him the art of Quranic recitation. Influential figures like Abdul Basit Abdul Samad and Mohamed Al Mohisni also played a significant role in shaping his skills.
Fares Abbad’s talent for Quranic recitation became widely recognized, and his voice, characterized by a blend of serenity and reverence, captivated many. He started his journey as an Imam of Tarawih prayers at Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque in 1994, holding the position for seven years.
His fame extended globally through numerous audio recordings, notably the complete recitation of the Quran in 2003, sponsored by the Qadaissia Records company. He also recorded the entire Quran, the incantation legitimacy, the poem “Nounia Al Qahtani” comprising eight hundred verses, and other works like the Introduction of Ibn Al Qayem, “The Paradise Description,” “The Day 2 Sides Reminders,” “The Possession Spell,” and “The Magic Spell.” Currently, he is preparing to release a new perspective on “The Fortress of Muslim.”
Fares Abbad spent several years in Saudi Arabia, leading prayers at Ali Ibn Taleb Mosque in Dhahran City for two years starting in 2006. Later, he moved to Ajman in the United Arab Emirates. Currently, he works as a Quran Reciter on Almajd TV. His first TV interview took place in May 2011, featured in a program called “The Quran,” broadcasted on Sharjah UAE Channel.
