Abu Usamah At-Thahabi’s Biography

In 1964, Abu Usamah was born in New Jersey. He converted to Islam in 1986 and spent the next eight years studying there, earning degrees from the College of Da’wah and Usool-ad-Din.

Since the day he converted to Islam, Abu Usamah has been extremely active in da’wah. He has served as the imam of a number of mosques in the UK and the US.

The fervor and eagerness of Abu Usamah to spread the genuine word of Islam has taken him to numerous locations around the globe, where he has given lectures and seminars and translated for numerous scholars and du’aat from the Arab world.

Sheikh Umar Fulaatah in the Mosque of the Prophet, Sheikh Muhammad ‘Atiyyah Saalim (author of the Tafsir “Adwaa ul-Bayaan”), Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad al-Ghunaymaan, Sheikh Muhammad al-Jaami, Sheikh Saalih al-Fawzaan, and many others are just a few of the renowned academics with whom Abu Usama He also had the great fortune to study hard for two summers with Sheikh Ibn Baaz and Sheikh Ibn Uthaymin.
