First-generation Ghanaian Abdullah Oduro became an Islamic conversion in 1997. In 2007, he received his diploma from the University of Al-College Madinah’s of Islamic Law. He gives public speeches, sermons, lectures, and seminars on Islamic law, self-improvement, and the life of a convert all throughout the US. In Dallas, Texas, he serves as the imam of the Islamic Center of Coppell and Lewisville. Together with his wife and four children, he lives in Dallas, Texas. Shaykh Abdullah, a Scholar who just joined Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, is in charge of a group that offers distinctive and extensive resources for recent Muslim converts as well as institutional conversion care.
